About Jack-O-Lantern
(Aka, JoL in in-game chat) Replica of the lucky charm worn by legendary space pirate Zech Rosier, adding 130 to 260 points to the shields and absorbing 90 to 140 damage per module.
Usage
This isn't really an amulet, it is a shield module and behaves as such. It is a direct replacement for the Eos Phase Shift Shield but with better specifications. But this includes some of the limitations as well. It will not, for example, compensate for weakness' in hull armor and therefore you will still need specialized shielding such as the Sagan shields to offset those weakness'.

With research, the Jack-O-Lantern can absorb up to 148 points of damage and has a 30% chance of absorbing 296 points of damage and a 45% of lowering scattering damage.
