The Ship Factory is where all of your ships are produced. Your ship factory can hold up to 20 different ship designs. There are a total of 5 slots where you can produce ships. Four of the five will require upgrades to the Ship Factory. The Fifth slot will require researching Sync Shipbuilding as part of the Logistics Construction Science.

special note: there is a limit on how many ships that can be made at a given time and is not related to resources. It is currently limited to 2 million ships. However the design limit is 20 ships.
