About Reflective Plating

This automatically activated shield will reflect damage from the first threat directed at the ship itself. Returns 20%-40% of damage received to the aggressor. This component will only function for 1 time for each combat unless Reflection Mastery is researched. (Only 1 piece of equipment of this type may be equipped at a time.)

Based on tests, this will only work when the hull of a ship takes damage, from no shields, or from piercing damage.
